Professional Learning Outline

some final thoughts

I have been wanting to develop training for our new staff for many years.  As of right now we have no formal training organized.  This course gave me the opportunity to organize my ideas into something I could present to any administration that may be interested in professional learning in the virtual school setting for new staff.

This page was broken into 4 sections:

The first section was my call to action, which was designed using the Nancy Duarte's structure of communicationIn this video you will see that I'm trying to reach out to leadership so that they can visualize how much greater our team could be with formal training for our new staff.

In the next section I went into more details about my why by using buttons to take you to a written or verbal explanation.

Then in my final two sections of this page I bring it home with a simplified version of how I will use the 5 Principles of Professional Development found in the published works from Allison Gulamhussein. and my Professional Learning outline. In this outline I list out the first 12 weeks of PL, including PDF's for quick reference guides, slide decks for our presentations, and I also add in a mentor section of the outline.

There is much more to be added to this plan and I look forward to adding to this more as implementation takes place.

I can't express how excited I am to bring this outline to fruition.
